Market news!

We've got some really lovey organic produce at our markets this week!

SALAD & GREENS

Our salads and spinach are back in full swing! We will have lots of salad heads and mixed salad bags available!

Our salad mix this week has vivid choi, cos, butter leaf, purslane & baby mixed chard leaves! Now that's a mix!!

We've also got beautiful bunches of large leaf rainbow chard.

When you buy from us you help us reach our goals of a sustainable food system, but we need your support to continue were really feeling the struggle with rising prices every week, we have absorbed as much as this as possible! Lads the spuds are flying it!!!

All jokes aside our potatoes are growing so well in the tunnels. Were expecting them to be a really great crop!

Radish and Kohl Rabi they've all been direct sown and will be ready in a matter of weeks for our veg boxes and farmers markets.

Tomatoes! All the tomatoes, Tomatoes for days!!!

All of our tomatoes are ready to be planted! Were aiming to get them into our tunnels in the next week!

Our favorite Jamie Oliver's salad dressing recipe's!

Ingredients

FRENCH DRESSING ¼ of a clove of garlic1 teaspoon Dijon mustard2 tablespoons white or red wine vinegar6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

YOGHURT DRESSING ⅓ cup natural yoghurt2 tablespoons white or red wine vinegar1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

LEMON DRESSING 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil1 lemon

BALSAMIC DRESSING 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Method

FRENCH DRESSING Peel and finely chop ¼ of a clove of garlic. Put the garlic, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons of white or red wine vinegar and 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into a jam jar with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper. Put the lid on the jar and shake well.

YOGHURT DRESSING Put ⅓ cup of natural yoghurt, 2 tablespoons of white or red wine vinegar and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil into a jam jar with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper. Put the lid on the jar and shake well.

LEMON DRESSING Put 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into a jam jar with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon. Put the lid on the jar and shake well.

BALSAMIC DRESSING Put 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar into a jam jar with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper. Put the lid on the jar and shake well.
